KICKING OFF GAME DAY

I can’t believe football season is already here! And while it feels like summer was over in a flash, I’m so excited to start dressing game day ready.

Living in Texas football is, of course, the main topic of discussion this time of year. I love going to high school, college, professional games, and seeing all the wonderful outfits people put together!

And while I enjoy a head to toe color blocked look, I think it’s important to see all the creativity that can be done for game day attire.

If you’re not looking to buy a full-blown outfit for each game, here are a couple of ideas I think are great ways to support your team and still look festive.

  1. Adding a scarf in the color of your team - this is a great way to have a consistent accessory that you can wear differently each time! Tie it around your wrist, add it to your bag strap, putting it around your neck or even in your hair.

  2. Make your bag your staple piece - most stadiums have bag requirements, which is now allowed for so many brands to create the perfect purse for game day! I love seeing all the clear purses and small bags (stadium approved) in different teams colors.

  3. Don’t forget the shoes - I love the idea of having a pair of boots, a sneaker, or even a flat in the color of your school! It allows you to pair with black or white outfits and keep everything else neutral but still fit in perfectly for your team!
