How to help your husband AND yourself!

Do you have a husband that wants to buy you nice jewelry for special occasions or just because?  Does your husband know what pieces of jewelry you are dying for?  Or does he wonder around aimlessly looking for birthday gifts for you but comes home empty handed?

I know that most of us can relate to these questions.  The last sentence describes my husband to a tee…this is exactly what happened just recently in August for my birthday! He was so pitiful when my actual birthday arrived, talking about how much he tried to find me something nice but had no luck.  He even went to a different mall the next weekend still trying to pick something out.  I felt so sorry for him that I ordered my own gift and told him to wrap it so the kids think he got me something.

I have friends that buy themselves gifts all the time for Christmas and wrap it themselves.  This works for some people, but others want to be pampered by their husbands.

I do realize it must be intimidating to buy a gift for someone like myself who’s profession is to shop everyday.  Or really for any man to buy a gift for his loved one.  I get it!  However, gift giving isn’t always about buying the most expensive item.  Rather, it’s about being thoughtful and paying attention to the things (or experiences) that your loved one would appreciate.

As a wardrobe consultant, I have the honor of hearing all different perspectives in building out a jewelry collection.  When it comes to fine jewelry, some people have no problem buying a diamond tennis bracelet for themselves.  While others prefer their husband to buy it for them for a special occasion.  If you are in this camp, let’s figure out a way that everyone wins.  You get these coveted diamonds that you have been dreaming of, and your husband wins too.  He will be just as excited to spoil his wife and especially with something she has been wanting.

For many years, I’ve helped my clients’ husbands shop for their wives.  Now that I’m offering lab grown diamonds, I will be offering the same support for these pieces for the holidays, special occasions, or just because!  This is how we can help your husband AND help yourself!  We can create your wishlist and I can be your little elf to let your husband know.  It’s easy and a win win!!!

With LOVE and grace,

Elizabeth
