Round Top Ready

It’s HEREEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Are you ready for the Fall Round Top Antique Show?  If not, don’t worry…I’ve got you covered.  With everything in life, it’s great to start with a plan and I’m here to get you going on your Round Top game plan.

How to Map Out your Shopping in Round Top:

  1. Look at the schedule to figure out date options.  I like this calendar of dates for the 2022 season.  There are so many different areas of “Round Top”  so it’s important to figure out what you want to check out when choosing your dates.  Reach out to me if you need help deciphering the differences between the spots to shop.  For a quick reference, these are my TOP picks on where to shop:

    1. Blue Hills

    2. Market Hill

    3. Northgate Field

    4. EX-CESS I & II

    5. The Arbors

    6. Bader Ranch

  2. Be prepared with your shopping list.  And what do I mean by be prepared:

    1. Create a list on your phone-I use notes app to make my list.

    2. Write down specific measurements next to the items you need.  Be very specific!

    3. Take photos of the room(s) you are shopping for.  That way you can visualize everything happening in the room and how the item you are looking at can work in the space.

  3. Choose your shopping partner (or partners) wisely.  I’m a serious shopper (I know you are SHOCKED!) and so I always want to be strategic with how I utilize my time in Round Top.  Mainly because I always want more time there.  I think it’s not only important to choose someone that shops at the same speed as you but also knows your home.  This is SO helpful when you’re not sure on a piece.  Also, I have shopped Round Top many many times by myself and I truly love going this route too.  So don’t be discouraged if your shopping partner can’t make it last minute.  You should still go.

I know Round Top can be overwhelming but just start somewhere and know that it won’t be the only time you go.  I learn something new every time and it’s all part of the fun.
