Round Up at Round Top

Round Top Antique Festival is one of my favorite times of year!! I love that it is such a creatively inspiring place for so many different reasons. Whether that be your home, style in general, as a business owner, or hospitality - it really sparks joy in my creative space. I think that is such an important part of everyday life, being able to see the creativity and beauty in people, places and things.

I love how warm and welcoming all the business owners are at Round Top, and how down to earth each and every visionary you come in contact with.

Most people come to me to tap into their fashion and style. To find where they belong in this world of fashion and design. Round Top, like many other places, is full of individuals who have cultivated their own style. And even past the individuals, each booth you enter feels like a world all of its own. The beauty around the tents is unmatchable in its own, eclectic way. I love pulling from those things and styling myself along the way.

In the image above you see me in a block print top (purchased in 30A). My jeans are from NYC and my boots are Old Gringo that I have had for around 10 years. The belt buckle (from Round Top!) and the fur are vintage (thank you Olio Collection!). I added some silver and turquoise cuffs which I have been collecting since I was a little girl. And my purse was a Gucci crossbody. You can see just in this one outfit the mix of new and old, low and high end - this is the sweet spot of cultivating your own style.

This of course is my style, full of stories behind each piece. Everyone’s style is different in its own way, but some of these special pieces are found at places like Round Top and built around my experiences.

I would encourage you all to start thinking about these things when purchasing items for you and even your home! What story does it tell? How will it go with what you already have? How does it make your wardrobe or home feel a little more special?

And for a few more inspiring shots, here is the rest of my Round Top experience:
