Travel Essentials
Traveling is essential to me. It provides such beautiful inspiration. The first hand education of other parts of the world are irreplaceable. It always gives me a sense of balance and sort of recalibration to the everyday hustle and bustle of our lives. So as I share my travel essentials, I have to start by saying traveling is essential to me personally!
After years of trial and error, I’m wanted to share with you my FAV travel essentials. Some of these were recommended or gifted to me and others I found organically. Either way, these are my go to pieces:
Laundry Bag - 1 bag per person, trust me!
Cosmetic Bags - I almost always use all of these when I travel for different things.
Turkish Towel - I talked about this piece in my last blog. I actually purchased mine in Telluride many years ago but this one linked below is very similar and seems to be a lightweight as mine and that’s key for versatility.
Portfolio - This one may seem odd, but I always travel with my portfolio. I used it hold my boarding pass so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle of my tote. I use my notepad to jot down ideas…because travel always brings inspiration and therefor new ideas for my business, personally, my home, etc. I also pull out tons of magazine pages for inspiration so I hold everything in my portfolio. I looked for years for a reasonably priced portfolio with quality leather and this one is fantastic!!!! I encourage you to get a BOLD color instead of the predictable black.
