PEARL SPRING 2024

“Don’t let anything dull your sunshine-unless it’s a palm tree.”  -Meg Frost

Stepping straight out of the Cabanas and Sunken Living Rooms of eternally chic Palm Springs, our Pearl by Lela Rose Spring 2024 Collection was inspired by a trip Lela took with her mother and daughter to the sun-drenched desert.  Cabana Stripes and sun-bleached colors mingle with playful mahjong-inspired motifs and mod ikat botanicals, evoking the spirit of parlor games.  Infused with old hollywood tailoring and vintage bohemian allure, the collection radiates elegant sophistication, echoing the timeless charm of Palm Springs and channeling Doris Day’s spirited elegance.

As a stylist, I’m mostly excited about the beautiful color palette this season with the butter belle, light blue, jade, cerulean and the peony.  SO beautiful for spring!

And the patterns are so playful (true to Lela) with the garden print, the  medallion eyelet, and the ikat floral print.  They are all just SO happy!!!

Since everyone *always* loves to hear the trends, I’m sharing

The Spring Trends 2024 for Pearl:

Butter Belle

She’s soft, she’s delicate, she’s as smooth as can be.  Butter-hued dresses and matching sets dominated Spring runways, providing us with a perfectly mellow dose of sunshine.

Denim Dandy

While denim is a fashion constant, the unexpected ways it was utilized on this season’s runways was important enough to call out from denim sets to occasion pieces, and detailed stitching.

Touchable Textures

Texture is the styling tool to tap this season.  Texture may be the single most transformative tool in our arsenal; adding interest to monochrome looks and a touch of tactility to tailoring.

Nipped and Tailored

A suit, be it a jacket with pants, skirts, or shorts is one way to look sharp and pulled together, but the neat thing about a tailleur is that it is also the basis of a mix-and-match modular wardrobe.

Satin Dressing

There’s a particular style that’s standing out the most this year - the satin dress. Designers have elevated the silhouettes with polished details that make it more versatile than ever.  High necklines and modest finishes make satin a versatile staple that can be worn over and over again.  Throw a blazer on top and you’ll instantly have an updated outfit.

Stripes are Always a Good Idea

Parisians are known for the black-and-white striped long-sleeve tee.  It’s come in and out of style but stirpes have officially been reinvented, and they’re better than ever.  Consider mismatching your stripes and wearing them in every which way this season.
