Every July, your feed floods with the same thing: dozens of influencers posting the same 40 viral Anniversary Sale items, one after another, with little to tell you why any of it should actually go in your closet.

As a wardrobe consultant, my job isn’t to chase what’s trending — it’s to build wardrobes that actually work: pieces that fit well, mix with what you already own, earn their keep in cost-per-wear, and make getting dressed easier instead of more complicated. That’s the lens I used to go through this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and pull together a full curated shopping catalog, edited the way I’d edit for a client, not for the algorithm.
A Quick Note on Timing
The Anniversary Sale catalog is live now for previewing and wish-listing, but purchasing opens in stages depending on your Nordy Club status — early access begins for cardmembers starting July 14–17, and the sale opens to everyone on July 18. So don’t panic if an item shows as unavailable to purchase just yet — add it to your list now, and it’ll be ready to shop the moment your access window opens.
