HOW TO SHOP THE SALES

For most July means hitting the beach or pool, soaking in the summer sun and spending time in the ((hot)) outdoors. It means that for me too, but it also means SALE SEASON! That’s right friends, July is the start of sale season, and I am here to help.

In order to help guide you through the rows of markdowns, I have a few suggestions on how to make shopping the sales easier and keep you on the right path:

  1. Shopping List. Make a list of what you need / want to buy while out and about shopping the sales. This will help keep you from getting distracted in stores and making mistakes by buying a ton of things you want but might not need.

  2. Map out where to go. This might sound kind of silly. But mapping out what stores you want to hit during sales will help cut down on time and keep you set on your shopping goals. Not only is this helpful to keep on track with what you are looking to buy, but if you are shopping on a limited time frame it will help assure you get to all the stores you want.

  3. Restock staple items. Use the time of summer sales not just to stock up on back-to-school items, but also to think practical for your wardrobe. Take a look in your closet to see what you need staple piece wise, and make sure to stock up on those items while you are shopping away!
